Areas for Improvement Standard Criteria Examples of Excellence 
 Structure and Navigation: The ePortfolio has a clear title, intuitive navigation, and a functional, aesthetically pleasing design that facilitates easy exploration.  
 Introduction and Land Acknowledgment: The introduction clearly states the ePortfolio’s purpose, SMART goals, and intended audience, and includes a meaningful land acknowledgment.    
 SMART Goals: At least three SMART goals are articulated and serve as a foundation for the ePortfolio’s artifact selection.  
 Metaphor/Framework: A metaphor or conceptual framework is effectively used to structure the ePortfolio and connect various components.    
 Philosophy Statement: A personal philosophy statement is included, reflecting current thinking and development over time.    
 Artifacts and Reflection: A minimum of nine artifacts are included, with at least three per SMART goal, accompanied by reflective commentary that justifies their selection and relevance.  At least one artifact demonstrates a translation of theoretical or research principles to practice (i.e. application).  
 Future Directions: The ePortfolio contains a “Future Directions” section that builds on reflections and outlines potential next steps in the learning journey.    
 Supporting Materials: Required supporting materials, including a video overview, assessment rubric, and analysis of feedback, are provided alongside the ePortfolio.    
 Use of Multimodal Tools: The ePortfolio creatively incorporates various educational technology tools.  
 Other Elements: Annotated references and other elements are included as appropriate to enrich the ePortfolio’s content and learning value.    
 Self-Reflection: Reflections are insightful, demonstrating self-assessment. They are interwoven and provide a coherent overall reflection of my learning experience. 
 Peer Reflection: Evidence is included that peer evaluation has been taken into account, and the portfolio adjusted in reaction.
